All the time. One of my favorite is .... Rimsky-Korsakov - Scheherazade
I like most with orientalism flavor.

Moscow Symphony - Arthur Arnold, conductor - Elena Semenova - violin - Live from The Hague, November 14, 2004.

I am 100% convinced that Dmitri Shostakovich was the best composer to ever live.

He composed his String Quartet No. 8 right before he was about to kill himself in an apartment in Petrograd. If this piece does not convince you of his genius, I don't know what will.

I don't listen to music at all anymore so every genre falls under "sometimes."

Ahhhh you must of course be referring to Schoenberg's "Survivor from Warsaw". It's so relaxing!

so what about modern classical music? (by modern I mean people who are still composiing today). How do you think todays present composers hold up compared to the composers of the past?
