  • I can't describe the feeling, really.

Ever heard an instrumental song (instrumental = without lyrics) that moved you close to tears? As I mentioned in another thread, I believe that instrumental music is the best at expressing what cannot be expressed in words. I've heard a few songs that induce this feeling in me, I can't really describe it...it's one of melancholy, but warmer, indescribable. Does any of this make sense?

Anyway, here's a few examples (these ones are from films):

    - The "paper bag scene" song from American Beauty

    - The main theme from Memento

    - "Summer Overture" from Requiem for a Dream (I haven't seen the film yet, but plan to because I looked into it after seeing it in the disturbing movies thread. This song is also in the 2nd of the LOTR movies, I believe.)

according to my "self promise" I was supposed to ignore you, but when I read "paper bag scene" I couldn't NOT respond.
    just like you said.
that scene's music gives me a feeling like no other.
as if it makes me melt inside...in a good way
    it is indeed indescribable.
I just know that my heart does something weird inside.

Haha, cute. You can't blame me though. I was merely trying to get you to see the other side.

But whatever, ignore me all you like, if it works for you.

Um, your bullying nature (you think it's productive criticism, but no, it's plain old bullying).

I agree with some things, like the benz dealy, but the people that utter those kinds of things look stupid on their own...they don't need your help, and you just kill it when you try to sound all "down-to-earth" and "oh, she thinks she's better than us, so I'm going to bash her".

can we base our sayings on facts?
                I'm gonna need examples here.
                thanx for the concern though.

Ah, forget it. That wastes too much energy, since obviously you don't get it (refer to the quote in my signature, please ).
