Wow! - I woulnd't have expected that anyone on this forum had even heard of Hatfield and the North before! I have (what both of?) their albums (yeah on CD too...)...but have to admit haven't listend to them in quite a while...

As for me - I have Prince - Black Album in the car CD right now....

Oh and are you familiar with the various Hatfield splinter and related groups? Caravan, Egg, National Health, Henry Cow, Soft machine (I have probably all of their albums...), and of course - GONG..Planet Gong, Mother Gong, and so on and so forth? Wow - I am impressed I must admit...nice music all...

                  • Yea, I'm familiar with them. I have Gong and National Health stuff in addition to the Hatfield and the North self-titled release.

                    • Yeah I was involved a bit in getting Gong (and another somewhat perhaps related group - Hawkwind) to tour here in the states for the first time - Gong in what 1979...wow hard ot believe that long ago..and I don't remember exactly with Hawkwind...early-mid 80s I guess. I have some nice (audio & video) tapes of the entire Radio Gnome trilogy played live here in the states (for the first time ever!)...anyway - means nothing to most...lol ...but I'm a big fan (of course..)

                      A Gong link...
