I know you are not into this musical genre especially given that you like Laura Branigan
Besides Armenian folk music and classical music, in general, I really enjoy early music from Europe (middle ages) and certain Metal bands.
I am a big-big-big fan of the legend, Jordi Savall. The following pieces by him, a tiny sampling, are perhaps amongst the most beautiful expressions of musical culture on earth:
Jordi Savall has been composing, conducting and directing early music since the 70s. Please look into his extensive musical works.
Wow, you know it's been how long I've been looking for the name of this guy, Savall?? I guess you know them for ages.
A couple of years ago, a friend of mine gave me the CD ( a copied version obviously with no name on it), unfortunately he himself didn't know his name, so I couldn't look for their other works. Thank you, now, I am going to buy a collection of their whole work. Love them. Their music is incredibly relaxing for me...
And Catalans are talented, colourful people, much like us.
Nah, I didn't like them much but I remember listening to a song by Rammstein, a couple of years ago called Amerika ( if I'm not mistaken), that was the only song I liked.
Yes, Germans are brilliant composers, musicians but as singers...!?!? I doubt it, at least I'm not a big fan of them.
....yeah -- I thought I'd pipe in and say that people are getting sick of the same old rock/hip-hop/r&b bullsh*t..... and there is just this big upsurge from a new style coming out of Europe -- it's pretty easy to find, just put 'euro club hits' into itunes or check this link:

"Gonna be a long, long, crazy, crazy (afternoon)" - if you were there, then you know it was...
Oh, the streets of Rome are filled with rubble,
Ancient footprints are everywhere.
You can almost think that you're seein' double
On a cold, dark night on the Spanish Stairs.
Got to hurry on back to my hotel room,
Where I've got me a date with Botticelli's niece.
She promised that she'd be right there with me
When I paint my masterpiece.
Oh, the hours I've spent inside the Coliseum,
Dodging lions and wastin' time.
Oh, those mighty kings of the jungle, I could hardly stand to see 'em,
Yes, it sure has been a long, hard climb.
Train wheels runnin' through the back of my memory,
When I ran on the hilltop following a pack of wild geese.
Someday, everything is gonna be smooth like a rhapsody
When I paint my masterpiece.
Sailin' 'round the world in a dirty gondola.
Oh, to be back in the land of Coca-Cola!
I left Rome and landed in Brussels,
On a plane ride so bumpy that I almost cried.
Clergymen in uniform and young girls pullin' muscles,
Everyone was there to greet me when I stepped inside.
Newspapermen eating candy
Had to be held down by big police.
Someday, everything is gonna be diff'rent
When I paint my masterpiece.
The Get Out Clause produce exciting new CCTV music video
One of the most difficult things for a DIY label to do is to create an engaging music video on a
shoestring budget. The Get Out Clause has found a novel way around this problem using a combination
of Manchester's state of the art CCTV system and a little knowledge of the Freedom of Information
Act. The Get Out Clause set up at various locations around Manchester city centre where they knew
there would be CCTV coverage and performed their new signal 'Paper'. The footage was then requested
under the Freedom of Information Act and a video was cut together in their home studio.
