Maybe it's not a relationship with foreign musician, but Krzysztof Penderecki, famous Polish composer of classical music has Armenian roots.

There aren't any informations about his roots, but in Polish Wikipedia there's an information:

Wychował się w rodzinie o ormiańskich korzeniach[1] i wysokiej tradycji muzycznej (muzykami byli m.in jego dziadek - bankowiec - oraz ojciec - adwokat).

it means:

He was growing up in family with armenian roots and high musical traditions (for example, his grandfather, banker, and father- lawyer, were musicians)
