  • What's the big deal, anyway?

Have you seen a film, which was constantly praised by everybody, but you just didn't see what they saw? Or have you seen a film everybody around you hated, but you absolutely loved? Let's discuss those films; admit to us what films you dislked/liked that others liked/disliked.

Very good thread One-Way, I remember a few movies like this, I just can't remember their names too well at the moment.

American Beauty was a good film; however, I agree at the time it was released it was overrated for wrong reasons. I really enjoyed American Beauty and I'm glad I saw it further down the road.

Babel. It was good, but way over rated

            I haven't seen Babel.

I personally think Kramer vs. Kramer was overrated; too predictable and not much depth to the story

People said Rev Road was really good & all that stuff.
It was an "Ok" movie nothing big or exciting.
