Has any one heard of him ?
he is a french armenian accordion player, he is extremly famous all over the world, but unfortunately the armenian community found out about him too late , to give him recognition...
he died from cancer i think.
anyway, there are 3 rare michael gangyan accordions made in the world in his honor.
if you have a chance, try getting both his cds, they both have naked ladies on them, posing either with a accordion or just alone, but its not raunchy, its done very artistically and tastefully.
I think one cd is silver and the other gold.
one of them is just all him playing , and the other is a famous pianist playing all of ganyans original composed music. Its absolutely beautiful.
i think the armenian music awards have a special category called the ' michael ganyan ' award in his name .
