Well thought out explanations. On another note, I happen to admire scientists that devoted a good deal of their lives by taking pleasure to try and retry new ways to find a cure for the good of mankind.
Yes, I am grateful for such scientists, they are the reason why one of my friends who had leukemia, who needed a bone marrow transplant, had a great specialist for the operation, as his life's goal was to be able to do bone marrow transplants perfectly, healing 100% of all cases. Though he did not achieve this dream, his techniques and diagnostics are exceptionally helpful for the patients who are lucky enough to have gotten him.
And to Saco, all is well here, and I too am glad we've had this opportunity in this thread to catch up again.
Of interest... this genre does not place our modern cultural and civilization as a reference point for the most enlightened and advanced. It is in fact an extreme critique towards our modern day and age.
I could have told you that... if you took the time people spent watching TV in the past 2 generations, and focused that time into something productive, we probably could have collectively found a cure for many ailments. Or sheltered and fed the homeless. Or built a couple hundred gread wonders of the world. Modern day and age is a waste of life.
"Nobody can give you freedom. Nobody can give you equality or justice or anything. If you're a man, you take it." ~Malcolm X
Actually it's easier then EVER to learn nowadays...we have everything we need. People simply use their time and energy in the wrong way. Let's top blaming time and the current age and start blaming ourselves for once.
