Is it Classic Rock, Jazz or Classical?

Independent rock. No commercials or blabbering DJ's, no playlists, at least for now. Lord knows if they'll keep it up. The only other stations that do anything near that are KLON and KCRW. Or do you know of others? I don't really listen to much radio.

I do not like new music.

KUSC 91.5, for classical music, has no commercials. But they have NPR news updates (only in the mornings though, but I could be wrong).

Isn't 103.1 that dance station, KDL something or other?

Are you some kind of prognosticator? How can you rule out the possibility of new music coming along that you might like? Besides, it isn't all new music. It's a mix of old and new.

This is a long discussion. But...

Music is a matter of trends. So it is not difficult to see now what is to be built on.

Additionally, even though there is some "new" music I respect, I find myself listening to older music anyway. It is a matter of taste. For example, Tool was one of my favorite bands. And, though I still respect them, I do not really listen to them anymore. This goes for all the grunge I like as well. It just does not hit the spot like the old stuff.
