I finally got her first CD, Lialousin, this saturday. She kicks ass. For those who enjoy easy listening, this CD is great. Nice voice, accompanied by a guitar (I think she plays it) and a string quartet.

She hasn't written any of the songs, but has composed the music for most of them.

Best song is Mi Lar, a poem by Shushanig Goughrinyan, with Pipoyan's very catchy music.

Anyone heard of her? Or know anyone else like her?

Ya, I wanted that CD too. I'll get it soon. She has another one on her own too. I think it's called "One Day in the city".

That's the only good thing about LA...You get cool concerts all the time. Hakhverdian was supposed to come to Montreal in November, but he's having alcohol problems again apparently. He might come in February or March..

Ok, let me rephrase. That's the only good thing that EYE (as Jahannam would say) found about L.A.

open your eyes then...there's a lot more LA has to offer...it really depends on your age too...but you can still do alot...

Am I not allowed to not like a city? Tabarnaaac. I've been there twice. It's unsafe and it smells like urine (but you guys don't smell it, I'm dead serious).

I have heard Gor, and have been looking for his CD, but haven't found it yet. My kind of music.

tabarnac lolol u really are Canadian!!! people laugh at me when i use that word...i caught on it after all my cousins in Montreal freakin use it...

but the city smells like urine? what area were u in dude? my area smells like exhaust fumes...urine is more towards hollywood

lol, glad to see you understood tabarnac. As for the urine smell, it comes on from time to time, no matter what part of the city you're in. It's funny though, my parents, my brother and I all looked at each other and asked what that smell was, and my LA cousins said "what smell?".
