Help me find this song!

So as I kid I used to watch this Armenian show with my parents in the 90's and the show would start off with this song. It was an afro hair man and the video would show places in armenia, the lyrics would start off with "Im Hayreniq, Im Hayastan" .... that's all ive got. Please help, thanks!

Shant, I still have not given up looking for that song but I went on youtube & some Armenian mp3 websites to do a search & nothing matches, so I guess we are out of luck unless someone knows the song of the name or the artist

Thanks apero!!! I spent an hour at the vernisage with all the music pros trying to figure it out. One of the guys spent 20 minutes playing various CDs trying to find the song. Let's keep this going until we come figure this out!

As a suggestions why don't you guys ring the TV station in question and ask them.

I have no doubt there must be some old boys there who would give your answer within seconds.
