Kind of.... don't get me wrong, some of the action scenes are really great, there are even some funny scenes in there....but in terms of actual depth in the story, it was lacking, and Casino Royale proves to be the better of film of the new Bond franchise
Watched a few films this week, i'll give my brief opinion on them:
Night on Earth - 8/10
The entire movie is a collection of 5 non-connected stories all taking place in cabs in 5 different cities in the world.
I liked how the movies develops each character despite the limited span of time and it contained very humourous scenes.
The Incredible Hulk (2008) - 7.8/10
Plot is familiar to all I hope lol.
It was a major improvement from the last disaster but after watching Iron Man, it just didn't click as much. And I hate shaky camera fight scenes. Edward Norton is an awesome actor though, speaking of which...
Fight Club - 9/10
Can't reveal much without ruining the film but it's about a man who hates his life and co-opens an underground fight club. I know it doesn't sound appealing but I can't say more than that
The message, the dark comedy, the action, the plot twist... all brilliantly done. This was my second time watching in years and I spotted so many stuff I had missed before. Edward Norton and Brad Pitt make an awesome duo. The first rule of fight club is you don't talk about fight club. Anyway speaking of Pitt...
Babel - 9/10
4 interconnected stories taking place in Japan, Morroco and USA/Mexico
This one's good as well. Great plot that keeps you in suspense, good music, good editing between each story.
