  • Where the Truth Lies turned out to be an excellent film. My fear was unnecessary. I give it an 8.5/10 for it being not only visually beautiful, but well acted and scripted. It lacks a bit of the depth of characters he had in some of his other films and also lacks in the very great interpretive qualities of some of his other works but it was fantastic nevertheless. And, for the love of hell, it could have been an R-rated film with no problem. The MPAA sucks! I am very angry about that.

        • Speaking of Armenian filmmakers, or filmmakers of Armenian descent, Alek Keshishian (the guy who directed Madonna: Truth or Dare and With Honors) is doing a new movie with Orlando Bloom and Gwyneth Paltrow. It's called Love and Other Disasters. Sounds meh-ish. More info here.

            • Of course. Ray Wise played a main character in Twin Peaks. The best show ever produced.

                    • I haven't followed his career. However, I know it's been less than illustrious. Probably undeservedly. Leland Palmer was and will be the best role of his career but I hope he fares well as I'm sure he's a great guy and I know him to be an able actor.
