        Hey, isn't this ther 'bands you've never heard of' thread? Not only have I heard of these, I am listening to them on my 'obscure' playlist right now.

            I know one person on here who probably knows at least 2 of those three I quoted. I don't know about everyone else...

                      Wire - The pinnacle of minimalist punk. They don't get the recognition that a lot of great punk bands do, but they should. The members of REM are big fans of this group.
