Has anyone else heard this yet? It's by Serj from System and this other guy... basically it's kinda like taking traditional armenian folk music and mixing it with modern stuff. The problem is I've listened to this album backwards and forwards and I have yet to understand a SINGLE WORD of it. If this is Armenian then I'm incoherant when it comes to Armenian apparently. I also played it for my Mom and Aunt who are from Armenia and even THEY didn't understand it. Serj (I think) is Baruitsi, and that particular dialect is very hard for me to understand so maybe that's why I couldn't catch the lyrics, but my mom and Aunt also lived in Bairuit for a while and they understand Bairuitsi pretty well and they didn't understand it. Please someone help!

Dont panic my friend!
Just listen to the music as it comes to you.
Maybe you can ask yourself if the lyrics on this cd are of any language at all, and if so if they have any meaning more than they fit into the arrangemen.
If you want to listen music, dont try to limit yourself to any boundries, even when it is Armenian music or music of what origin. Music is music.
Hopefully my answer will help you in finding if the spoken language is Beirutsi or whatever Armenian.
O ja, the other guy on the CD is Arto, a great musician. Listen to his CD's of The Armenian Navey Band and enjoy your trip on his boat!!
