Early Pink Floyd Kicks Butt.

i just went through my old pink floyd records. they are so good. especially, the more, obscured by clouds and relics. the song i like is green is the colour.
what are your thoughts about floyd. just curious.

Anytime music can transcend time, you know you've got something special/quality. Pink Floyd sounded good when it came out, still sounds good today, and will continue to do so for generations to come. Compare that with today's modern pop/rap/R&B/punk rock crap. Most if it will be ancient history within a few years of its release.

yeah, but the early floyd is different. their voices are more young and the music is largely phycodelic. You can surely say that Pink Floyd is of the the best phycodelic bands in the late 60s.

BTW, punk is already outa style, the punk reached its heights in the 80s. Now "rock" band mostly mix punk, pop and metal to produce crap. The only self-righteous band out there is "system of down", but i cant judge them cause i dont listen to them.

Notjust floyd, but music of that era will live on for more generations. Like classical music and jazz, they still are played today, and are very popular.
