The Zurna

Is this an Armenian instument or a Russian one? I know the Daduk (with all it's thousand spellings) is uniquely Armenian, but I'm trying to find if there are any others that are as well.

First off, it's DUDUK! Not daduk! Just admit that already!

Second, the zurna is definitely not russian.

It is used in Armenian and Turkish music to my knowledge, so it's a regional instrument, if you will. I don't think anybody can identify it as Armenian or Turkish..

Thanks for the info. I guess it's not wrong to consider the Zurna as an Armenian instrument, just originally like the Daduk is...

yes its an armenian instrument , again, its not a turkish instrument , as little as it is a swedish one.

The high pitched instrument is the zourna. One of my friend's friends is the one playing it and I'm the one on the Dhol (Armenian Drums).
