today's turks have no idea how much armenians contributed to turkish (better to say ottoman) music. some of the best saz semais and peshrevs were written by kemani tatyos ekserjian. there was also hampartzum limonciyan, who devised his own system of musical notation from scratch that was used for several centuries to notate ottoman music.

I have an idea But the problem is Turkish youth do not listen those classical Turkish music anymore. Instead they prefer bulls*it like Tarkan.
