Hello everyone,
Jean Beujékian is a Paris, France educated guitar professor from Lebanon who has recently created a beautiful recording of his own compositions entitled "Les Couleurs De La Guitare" ("The Colors of the Guitar")
On this 14 track instrumental CD are classical guitar songs ranging from the hauntingly beautiful Reverie to the joyful Les Printemps de Sara (The Springtime of Sara) written for Jean's daughter. The soft jazz tones of Mosaique will have your foot tapping time along with its lovely melody. The traditional Armenian flavor of Improvisation sur un theme de Sayat Nova mixes with crisp classical melody to create a unique delight.
For guitarists who are looking for something fresh and new to add to their repertoire, a book of the music is available which includes 7 of the songs in traditional notation as well as tablature.
