I guess the band is not well-known in the US. but quite popular in Europe.
Amercians are usually ignorant of European singers.

Lucin I hear ya....

But COLDPLAY is HUGE.... they weren't that well known when Parachutes came out, but after RoBTTH..... and clocks people know them.... And there are lots of americans who know about european music, usually the ones who don't like american pop music.
