I think that this hip hopera by R. Kelly is an ambitious undertaking as well as a modern day masterpiece - a brilliant, compelling commentary on contemporary American society. Its twelve chapters are rife with shocking revelations and unexpected twists, moments of catharsis, and thoughtful observations on love, fidelity and dwarfism. Overall, Trapped in the Closet remains a remarkably inventive and daring venture that will surely be studied and talked about for many years to come.
