I'll probably get made fun of if I buy it as it is a realy small car - the likes of which have never been seen in the USA.
Anyway, it definately has nice lines, is under 14k and best of all, it can get up to 60 miles/gallon (great for my long work commute). Soon everyone will be driving these things...maybe I'll be a trend-setter.

Here's a picture...tell me what you think and try not to laugh too much

I'd much rather have an S class Mercedes Benz with a chauffeur where you can feel safe knowing that if you were involved in an accident you would still come out alive. Can that be said about a smart car ? Not so smart after all , ey ?

Agree, chauffeurs and french maids do come handy when a need arises.
Worked with Diana I am sure it will work for the rest of us too.

              Good point, Azad.

Are you sure you guys aren't talking about the Tesla when you are talking about a hybrid with Ferrari like speed? 0-60 in 3.9 and under 100k.

The car identified above looks like a moped with a cone of silence for the body and training wheels. I doubt it competes with a Ferrari.

                Re: Smart Car

A quick Google search says it's about $11,000-$17,000.

Assuming that's right, I think it should be a little less expensive. $99 is definiently a good price for reserving a car though. I have been seeing thse cars on the streets for over a year now. I remember seeing it in France and it was so small, my friend walked up and hugged it from end to end.

That smart car is not as smart as they want you to believe.
At around 40-mpg and average $13.000 price you can buy a safe car like a corolla. Yes it won't be unique kid's shoe shape like cool but you won't be killed on your first 20-mph accident. Today there are ONLY 2 cars for saving energy and be safe >>> The Prius (over 60 mpg) or the Hybrid Civic (around 50 mpg) none Hybrid first choice will be a Corolla (easily 43 mpg).

Ok next time you are going to buy a car, send me $99 and I'll "reserve" it for you.
