That's not the stock suspension. It's now got a 6" "Long Arm" lift made by Full Traction. Those long round bars you see going from the middle of the bottom to the axles are why the suspension is called "long arm". Stock jeeps have short arms and a different type of suspension in the back. Needless to say this suspension is MUCH better than the stock!!!! Even with all that lift it rides much better on the freeway, let alone flexing offroadOriginally posted by Crimson GlowWow. I've never gotten a good look at the undercarriage of a Jeep before. That's one crazy suspension set-up. I saw a bumper sticker a few weeks ago on one that read something like "If you can read this, flip me over." It was written upside down, of course.
I was resizing the pictures to put on my website at some point but figured I'd post them here in the mean time because some people have been complaining that the car section doesn't have any activity.
... and thanks for the link dstyle. There are some pretty cool pictures there!Last edited by Sip; 06-19-2004, 01:34 PM.this post = teh win.

Not completely but I did drop the front passenger tire of my blazer in there one time when I was backing up to get out of the yard. It was night and dark and we had construction on the back gate so there were a lot of things to negotiate through. I wouldn't have made it out without 4x4Originally posted by EmilHave you ever driven into the pool?
There was a nice long scrape on the concrete along the edge of the pool and a nice scrape under my lower control arm (passenger side of the blazer) and a bruised ego
... no other damage thankfully
But the jeep is very easy to navigate in tight spaces. I can basically turn in place
