Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

        watch this video

Its the CL65 not sl65 but you get the idea

        Some quotes from the video

Let me show you what happens when you try to get the car rolling (car is peeling out and not moving) eventually you do start to move, but only after your tires have been transferred from the wheels onto the road.

Of course you can stop that from happening by turning on the tracktion controll. Great but all this does is regn the engine in and slow it down. Then why have all the power in the first place???

if the top speed is governed by the gentelmens agreement?(at 155mph) and the acceleration from 0-60 whats the point of this car?

I love the end when they play tug of war. CL65 (700+ft lbs of torque vs 8 people. guess who wins?

you should definetly watch the vid. its definetly worth the time to download

Go the Japs. You can't beat quality when it comes to Lexus. European luxury cars are way too overpriced (in Australia anyway, I'm not sure about the U.S).

Personally I love Toyota's, say what you will, but here's a supercar they're still testing. Could cost in the $100,000 range, and has over 500bhp.
Toyota make the most reliable cars in the business.

          And here's the article:

Toyota has been eyeing Nissan's success with the revived 350Z - and apparently, from spy pictures nabbed this week, it's been a little jealous of supercars like the Porsche Carrera GT, too. Toyota 's been caught testing what some insiders are calling the "TXS," a limited-production exotic that might be powered by a V-10 engine worth 500 hp.

Pictures show the TXS with enough cladding to disguise much of its shape, but clearly, this is no Celica or MR2-sized sportscar. Insiders suggest the car will tip in at less than 3000 pounds, giving its 500-hp powerplant (with 370 lb-ft of torque) a serious chance at catching the likes of the Porsche and Benz supercars. Top speed could reach 190 mph, the same league as the 550-hp Ford GT. Whether the drivetrain offers any version of Toyota 's hybrid technology is unknown.

Whether the final vehicle is sold as a Lexus or as a Toyota , it's likely that a limited production run of about 10,000 units is in order. Expect a debut at the 2005 Tokyo Motor Show and an on-sale date soon after - with a price tag well over $100,000.

what the xxxx is a vtek shti?

First of all you spelled vtek wrong and the evo is not a honda and therefore no vtec.

Dude are you just SLOW? The EVO we are speaking about is a customers fully built evo, not a STOCK one!. It's putting down around 500hp to the WHEELS. Even the owner of the mercedes agreed that he would get beaten. He has another benz, the CL600 and the E55 AMG the 463hp one. Anyhow, we ran that cars against the guy's white evo 5 times in the 1/8mile. The benz lost 4/5 times. Only time it won was when the evo missed the gear. You are comparing a factory benz to a factory evo genius.

And look at your own numbers. The evo with its dinky 2.0L engine is competing with europeans cars like lambo, lotus, porsche, AND it did better than mercedes.

I just noticed that the cl65 is also on the list. It makes the same power as the sl65 and its still slower than than factory evo.

3 seconds is a big difference. The asutin martin vanquish was just a little over one sec faster than the 240hp s200.
