GM just had a big'ol recall on many of the full sizes due to some problem with the steering pump or the break or something. I am not sure what the detail was but it sounded pretty serious. May want to check it out if you haven't heard.

nice ride...i love my suv, bought a yukon in june of 03, best thing i've ever purchased in my life.
I leased because of the lower payment. I sold cars for 3 years, my uncle has sold cars for 15 + years and is the general manager of a dealership, so I didn't get screwed.

I was actually reading the review Petersen's did on the 4x4 version for this year's 4x4 of the year, yesterday (they gave it grand cherokee) ... but it was pretty funny because they had the passenger side curtain airbag go off while testing it offroadThey said it was a preproduction model so that might explain it.
They liked the cargo room and the folding seats a lot, as well as the on road manners and quiet ride. They also liked the fact that it is back to the "body on frame" construction and I would have to agree with them. However, they also said the AC controls were "cheesy"
The sound system sounds great! Gotta love the mp3 featurethis post = teh win.

I've read a review on a Nissan forum comparing the '05 Pathfinder to a '05 X-5 and the reviewer said the handling, power, quiet ride is just as good as a X-5.
I don't find the A/C controls "cheesy." They are round knobs, plus I dual zone controls, so the passenger can control her own temperature.

I have pulled 3 different people out of ditches in the last 20 hours with the Jeep. One was a civic, another was an older toyota, and the last one was an oldsmobile (or some American sedan not sure). We got about 8 inches of new snow just last night.this post = teh win.

My blazer only has about 9.5" of clearance under the axle pumpkin. So even though 8" doesn't sound like much, it's enough to get a lot of low riding front wheel drive sedans hung up on their frames if the tires dig deep enough. I do wish we could get more though but this was enough for now I guess.
Plus I'm still new around here so any amount of snow and I'm out there like an idiot climbing the piles in parking lots and getting stuckthis post = teh win.
