  • Persian Camry Love

Is it me, or do a lot of Persians in Southern California love Toyota Camry's, especially those older models.

Everywhere I go when I see a Camry it's either an old Persian looking woman or Persian looking family driving. Several of my Persian neighbors have a Camry.

I've noticed this for many years, thought I would ask now. Is there a story behind this love?

Those new 2007 Camry's do look nice though.

Nice? The Camry's, Scion's, and Lexus IS's look identical. It's stupid.

I love you, Sip. You make me laugh and smile--and do so much more.

You are a hero, in my mind. THANK YOU

Again, I want everybody to know that both somebody and nobody loves and cares about them.

Let me make a quick point. By the way, I got confused looking at these pictures. They all looked the same to me.

          Lexus IS

          Camry

          Scion

          Lexus IS

          Camry

A famous perceptual illusion in which the brain switches between seeing a young girl and an old woman (or "wife" and "mother in law"). An anonymous German postcard from 1888 (left figure) depicts the image in its earliest known form, and a rendition on an advertisement for the Anchor Buggy Company from 1890 (center figure) provides another early example (IllusionWorks). For many years, the creator of this figure was thought to be British cartoonist W. E. Hill, who...

            Great observation, One-way.
