Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!


2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

    Israel will launch military action to prevent Iran developing a nuclear weapon as soon as Christmas, intelligence chiefs have warned. A report by a UN watchdog into Iran’s nuclear ambitions ‘completely discredits’ the Islamic nation’s protestations of innocence, according to Foreign Secretary William Hague.

    The International Atomic Energy Agency found that Iran is developing a nuclear test facility, nuclear detonators and computer modelling for a nuclear warhead that would fit on an existing missile. Sources say the understanding at the top of the British Government is that Israel will attempt to strike against the nuclear sites ‘sooner rather than later’ – with logistical support from the U.S.

    A senior Foreign Office figure has revealed that ministers have been told to expect Israeli military action, adding: ‘We’re expecting something as early as Christmas, or very early in the new year.’

    Officials believe President Barack Obama would have to support the Israelis or risk losing vital xxxish-American support in the next presidential election.

    In recent weeks, Ministry of Defence sources confirmed that contingency plans have been drawn up in the event that the UK decided to support military action.

    But the source ruled out direct British support, adding: ‘Of course we are not in favour of Iran developing a bomb – but do we think they’d use it: no. ‘The bigger concern is it will be impossible to stop Saudi Arabia and Turkey from developing their own weapons.’

      Supreme Leader Vows Iran's Tough Response to Aggressions

      TEHRAN (FNA)- Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei warned enemies about Iran's tough response to any aggression or even threat, stressing that the country would respond with full force to any attack.

      "Iran is not a nation to sit still and just observe threats from fragile materialist powers which are being eaten by worms from inside," Ayatollah Khamenei told students at a Tehran military college on Thursday.

      "Anyone who harbors any thought of invading the Islamic Republic of Iran - or even if the thought crosses their mind - should be prepared to receive strong blows and the steel fists of the military, the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), and the Basij (volunteer) force, backed by the entire Iranian nation," he said.

      "Iran will respond with full force to any aggression or even threats in a way that will demolish the aggressors from within", he added.

      The Leader said the message was directed at Iran's enemies, "specially America and its stooges as well as its police dog in the region the Zionist regime (Israel)".

      Yet, the Supreme Leader reiterated that Iran did not intend to invade any country.

      The remarks by the Supreme Leader followed threats last week from Israel that air strikes could be in the offing against Iran. Israeli President Shimon Peres said last weekend that such action was becoming "more and more likely".

      Earlier this week, Israel and the United States dictated a report to International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Chief Yukiya Amano on Iran to find a pretext for intensifying war rhetoric on the Islamic Republic.

      Once the report was released, not only Iran, but also many world states, including Russia, China and the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) member states, strongly rejected it and blasted the UN nuclear watchdog chief for acting as a White House proxy.

      Iran also said that it would not budge "an iota" from its peaceful atomic activities.

        So let's get this straight. The US, France, UK and Israel, who have a combined ~9000 nuclear weapons, are telling Iran it has no right to build a single nuclear weapon. In that list, at least one entity has actually used nuclear weapons and all the listed countries, especially the Zionists, ACTIVELY threaten to attack Iran. GTFO. Kim Jung-il would be an idiot to give up his nukes.

          Iran, unlike Pakistan can threaten Europe's capitals and the Israelis aren't going to wait until an Islamist bomb falls into the wrong hands.

          btw. Kim doesn't have a proper bomb and that crowd are still sitting in the dark.

              Russia, Iran sign agreement on strategic cooperation

              PanARMENIAN.Net - Iran and Russia have signed a strategic cooperation agreement in line with the policy of increasing bilateral cooperation, a top Iranian security official announced on Friday, November 11.

              According to Merh News Agency, Ali Baqeri, the deputy secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, said that the agreement was signed during his meeting with Yevgeny Lukyanov, the deputy secretary of Russia’s Security Council, in Moscow on Friday.

              “This is a document of cooperation between the two countries’ security councils, which had previously been put forward and was finalized today,” Baqeri told reporters after the meeting with his Russian counterpart.

              “The document covers cooperation between Iranian and Russian security councils in security, economic, political, and intelligence fields. Through signing this agreement, the framework of cooperation between the two neighboring countries’ security councils was established in terms of form and content,” he explained.

              During his meetings with Russian officials during his visit to Moscow, he said that bilateral ties, the latest report of the International Atomic Energy Agency on Iran’s nuclear program, and Russia’s step-by-step proposal were thoroughly discussed.

              Meanwhile, Fars News Agency reported that Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov arrived in Tehran on Friday night after the two countries signed the agreement.

              During the two-day visit, the senior Russian diplomat is due to meet with high-ranking Iranian officials, including Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian, to discuss bilateral ties and exchange views over regional issues.

              Bogdanov is also due to meet with Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi during his stay in Tehran.

                  Washington may soon announce plans for a large sale of precision-guided bombs to the United Arab Emirates, according to US reports, as tensions mounted with Iran over its nuclear programme.

                  The Pentagon is considering a significant sale of Joint Direct Attack Munitions made by Boeing, adding to other recent arms deals with the UAE. Those included the sale of 500 Hellfire air-to-surface missiles about which the US Congress was notified in September.

                  The sale of Boeing-built "bunker-buster" bombs and other munitions to UAE, a key Gulf ally of Washington, is part of an ongoing US effort to build a regional coalition to counter Iran.

                    Republican hopefuls would go to war with Iran

                    Republican presidential hopefuls have promised to go to war to stop Iran obtaining a nuclear weapon, painting Barack Obama's handling of Tehran as the most serious of a string of overseas failures.

                    Mitt Romney, the favourite to clinch the party's candidacy, said that he would direct US forces to pre-emptively strike Iran's nuclear facilities if "crippling sanctions" failed to block their ambitions.

                    "If all else fails, if after all of the work we've done, there's nothing else we could do besides take military action," Mr Romney said at a debate on foreign policy in South Carolina on Saturday night.

                    The former Massachusetts governor's pledge was echoed by Newt Gingrich, the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, who over the weekend rose to second place in some national opinion polls.

                    "You have to take whatever steps are necessary to break its capacity to have a nuclear weapon," said Mr Gingrich, who also proposed covert actions such as "taking out their scientists," to applause. Rick Santorum, a former Senator for Pennsylvania, said the US should support an Israeli intervention.

                    Their remarks came at the end of a week of heightened tensions following the UN nuclear watchdog's confirmation that Iran had acquired the expertise and material required to build its first nuclear weapon.

                      that's why Ron Paul will never receive the Republican nomination. He's the only one who doesn't follow the AIPAC's warmongering agenda, and actually does what he thinks will be best for the country.
