Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

(I have run a search on rfid before in this forum, and was displeased to see its lack of discussion)

How many of you folks are aware of this technology and its fastly expanding industry?

    Listen, and listen well.

RFID stands for radio frequency ID, and it is a small chip inside a capsule the size of a grain of rice that can be implanted in devices such as cars and cellphones, inside digital cards you use for the bank, for medicare, etc... and it is implanted in our pets and several medical patients today.

The purpose of this chip is to monitor the whereabouts of whatever device, supply shipment, vehicle, animal or person it's implanted in. In regards to what it potentially can do for humans, it can store all your documented identification, including medical history, your address, your bank account information, your credit card information, etc... All the while, knowing your exact whereabouts and all the previously mentioned information by relaying your radio signal to a central database.

In Britain, they are trying to pass laws that make this chip mandatory for all prisoners, there are several companies that make the use of RFID tags on supply shipments mandatory, the automobile and aeronautics industries are pushing hard to implement it in all new vehicles produced, etc...

All of this is going on, and by 2012, it is expected to be an 8 billion dollar industry worldwide. Indeed, it's impact on mankind will take our digitization a large step further.

This is the future, it has many positives for businesses, military, and for fighting crime, but it definitely further enshrouds our privacy, and it is shown by a limited number of studies to be yet another source of cancerous tumors.

Human beings have never put up a good fight towards their digitization and firm inclusion into a remote, centralized database that is updated with every bank transaction, every hospital visit, every tax filing, etc... in fact, we've been led to embrace it as an advancement of our standard of living. Will this be just another example of it? This technology can effectively turn our use of wallets altogether into sheer memories, and no laws are being passed at all that create safeguards against the features of this technology that enshrouds our sense of privacy.

The media coverage of this topic is very scarce as well, as it is a sensitive issue for the masses, and it is better to be introduced and implemented gradually and quietly. It seems the internet is the only haven for its discussion.

Hey, if you have any doubts, google them for starters.

    Re: Rfid

You make it sound like RFID is some sort of conspiracy A lot of companies are working on RFID. I doubt at least in the US anyone will ever be able to make it into an implant but it's really not that hard to track people without RFID. It's MUCH easier to track you with the cel phone you are carrying around now so worry about that

But it does have a lot of great uses like finding and keeping track of underground cables and pipes, to automatically checking out library books, to even let you just fill a shopping cart and walk out of the store and have your credit card be automatically charged (skip the cashier).

There was all this talk recently about the US government putting RFID tags in passports and how it could expose all sorts of personal details with someone walking by you with the right scanner (if the encryption was somehow broken).

      Re: Rfid

This is a very serious topic.

I can post more into detail later but everyone should look at videos by Aaron Russo, who was died about a year ago.

It's a serious matter because this is the beginning of the end as we know it. We all know about the North American Union (USA, Mexico, Canada). There are talks about switching to one currency for the three, the Amero. This is just the beginning. The ultimate goal is to have one government controlling us all. Whether you believe that or not is up to you.

Back to the RFID chip. Russo who was close to one of the Rockerfellers got inside information about 9/11 before it happened. I think it was David Rockerfeller but I'm not too sure which one, basically, he told Aaron Russo about these chips. He said the ultimate goal is to have everyone chipped.

Barcelona has already started chipping "customers" at bars. "Medical experts" in America are approving this because they say it's a good way to keep everyones medical records on a chip. All your money and debt are already on CREDIT CARDS, soon we'll have everything on a chip. Your money, your indentiy, passports, everything will be included on a single chip to "make it easy" when you travel, etc.

      So what's the problem?

The problem is that this is a ploy to control everyone. Tricking people with the "medical experts" opinion of why we should get chipped to ultimately be controlled by the government. Rockerfeller even stated it is to control those who "get out of line" as in if you don't agree with what's happening and try to make a change, your CHIP WILL BE SHOT OFF. What does that mean? You can no longer access your money, travel, etc.

This will happen and people are closing their eyes to it. It's not a conspiracy, that word gets thrown around to make people sound crazy. Believe it.

Google Aaron Russo and listen to some of his interviews.

        Re: Rfid

yes, you're right, rfid is very convenient for a lot of things, but there are those of us (me) who don't approve of carrying cellphones around at all times either, and feel that rfid technology is one up of this technology used for this purpose.

Btw, another chink in the chain for rfid implants is cutting off bill gates' arm to secure his chip, and start waltzing around with his digital identity :P

Anyway, as the world becomes more and more acquainted with this technology, the incentives to get it implanted will increase, just as the incentives for every house having an internet access has increased exponentially since it first came out. More and more aspects of comfortable life in our society will depend on our participation because it is a profitable, streamlined kind of technology for businesses, medical institutions and government agencies alike. All they need is for the public to be cooperative, and to gradually make life easier for them, as this will cut down on costs as this technology is relatively inexpensive for them to implement at a grand scale when compared to the technologies currently in use that it will make obsolete.

Yes, I heard this from the documentary Zeitgeist, actually, it was the second instance I had heard about RFID.

            Re: Rfid

They will always take the back route to convince us. If they proposed RFID chips and when asked why, they gave you my explanation, the whole world would rebel. When they take the back route with "medical" reasons, shopping made easier, people are convinced.

I mean, look at us right now. Is gas really worth $4 a gallon? We would KILL for $3 a gallon and that's exactly their plan. They "train" us by raising it so when it drops a tiny bit, we're pleased. Seriously, the world is headed for downfall and 99.9% of us are asleep.

I know, it's unbelievable... I'm training my cardio so I don't have to buy gas, lol. People think I'm crazy, I think I'm keen.

I highly recommend running long distances (not jogging, bad for your knees), it is sooooo much fun, just keep out of busy boulevards and highways. Residential areas (especially if you don't mind running on people's grass :P), fields, parks and even running through the woods are fun.

Keep your car for trips you really need, and don't be shy to bike for a couple of hours a week

We were made to travel long distances!

Anyway, so long as the people around me trust the "backroute" preachers as you call them, I will not stand up for them, in fact, I'll step on their toes too once in a while. Grow up people, I know we all need to pay our bills and do our things to support ourselves, but we can shake the cage when we get a chance, maybe we'll get a refund instead of another setback that's part of the grand scheme of things to come.
