I can't believe you went to such a desperate measure as banning the Armenian!!!

The man is a patriot unlike many others in this forum. Most of his threads and posts are not just good material but also, and most importantly, they are informative and educational. He has continiously contributed to this forum in a very, very positive way and I'm 100 per cent confident that there are many who have benefited from his threads and posts, myself among them.

The man is a patriot and the rest of us are self-hating deceivers and traitors? I banned him along with others. I warned them but they continued and I'm tired of this holier than thou notion of monopolies on truth and this rampant insulting and personalizing others because they disagree.

Why on earth couldn't you have a private chat to him and sort everything out the civilized way?

If he stays banned then I will never ever post in this forum again!

And I call on everyone who was friends, or at least was friendly, with the Armenian to boycott this forum from now on.

He's only temporarily banned. If you don't like moderator decisions, message me, don't post public threads to make declaratory statements about boycotting, etc. If you don't like it here, then feel free to leave, boycott it, whatever, a few less posters to worry about.

Re: Unban Armenian

The technical name for that is a "website" (or a blog), not a "forum".

Wrong!

A blog (website) is basically a one-man show where others can simply post comments on that website (blog) without being able to open their own threads etc.

A forum is a place where registered users can post, can open threads, can private message, can have polls, can engage in discussions in a particular thread on a particular subject, etc, etc.

A restricted forum is everything above plus the fact that it is restricted to only those who are invited to become its members.

I strongly encourage Armenian to dump these unthankful lot and open a restricted forum.

Re: Unban Armenian

Open a forum and become it's admin and moderator. Make that forum "by invitation only" and all it's threads completely protected so that not only it will be a pest free but also unavailable for the pest to even read.
