Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • Welcome Back, Armenian!

    Welcome back, brother!

    P.S. Think about my suggestion of opening up your own forum. I don't want to see any more patriots being cut off by Internet dictators.

      I love this vehement Armenian solidarity! It reminds me of October 27, 1999.

          OMG! Please don't do that. It would be such a tragic loss!

          HyotzMazot I hope that you are not going to follow Azad in his protest. It's not worth losing great people all at once!

              The Resurrection

              I have experienced the cold darkness of the cyberian abyss and lived.

              {looking solemn yet confident, Armenian ascends upon the forum's podium to addressed the multitude that have gathered to hear him speak}

              I have seen firsthand the dark and ugly face of utter evil, but I persevered. I have experienced firsthand the vile works of Satan and his earthbound minions, but I have overcome. I have stared death in the face, but I have life. It is said, all the darkness in the universe cannot extinguish the light emanating from a single candle. By the grace of our great forefathers, by the grace of divine fortitude, and by the grace of anonymous justice, I have resurrected yet again from the darkness of the abyss. I am the resurrection. Take note my fellow brothers and sisters, by my free will I have martyred myself for you. I have martyred myself for you to give you life, to give you hope for your future as Armenians.

              My fellow compatriots, today we became the light that overcame darkness...

              {applause}

              What some of you did in my name humbled me. Your valiant efforts went beyond what I could ever expect, and perhaps beyond what I truly deserved. I thank you all from the depths of my heart. Who says we Armenians don’t stick together? Who says this great and noble nation does not have great and noble individuals? Rest assured my fellow comrades, any time, anyplace, I would, without hesitation, go to my virtual death for each and every one of you. I hope you all realized that the crisis here was not about me being a combative member. This ordeal was about truth, justice and the Armenian way.

              If my fault was retaliation against open hostility and utter evil - then let-me-be-guilty!!!

              {applause}

              If my fault was defending our nation's honor - then let-me-be-guilty!!!

              {standing ovation}

              You, my fellow compatriots, yes you are proof that the sacred light of truth and justice has valiantly overcome the darkness of lies and deception. In short, what happened here was an epic battle that was waged between good and evil. And by the grace of the almighty, the good has defeated the evil...

              {applause}

              Needless to say, I am grateful for your selfless and valiant support. I embrace and kiss each and every one of you. I extend my hand to you in complete admiration. I have great respect for all you brave warriors, all you heroes and heroines, all of you who mobilized in my support to protect my reputation as an Armenian and as a humanbeing. I want to personally thank each and everyone of you.

              All you Armos make me proud to be an "Armenian" - no pun intend!!!

              {applause and laughter}

              All you other Armos here that were either too afraid, too confused or simply too careless to make a stand, I simply wish you all well. However, just realize that you need to reassess your priorities as Armenians. You need to feel the burden that comes with the knowledge that you are the off-springs of great and heroic forefathers. You need to feel the burden that comes with the knowledge that you are expected to keep the chain of our national heritage unbroken, a chain that is over four thousand years old. You, my fellow compatriots, are the very links of that glorious and yet unbroken chain. If you don't respect your heritage, if you don't have pride in your nation, if you don't concern yourselves with the future of our homeland - then don’t expect us to ever fully respect you as Armenians or as humans.

              Thank you!

              {Armenian gently looks down upon finishing his speech as the virtual forum bursts in jubilant applause}
              Մեր ժողովուրդն արանց հայրենասիրութեան այն է, ինչ որ մի մարմին' առանց հոգու:

              Նժդեհ

                The only Messiah of the Armenian People is Jesus Christ.

                ...but welcome back Armenian. I hope that we will be able to engage in an intelligent conversation in the near future.
