See if you have listened to what God was saying from the beginning your world wouldn’t have fallen apart.
That’s what wrong with the way people think, they do whatever they need to do without considering the consequences and when things don’t go their way they blame God.

    Re: God

I don't believe in the Abrahamic God b/c above the many many many contradictions in all the three different books, there are a plethora of contradictions which are illogical, irrational, hypocritical, and sometimes down right evil. The Bible by itself okays inequality of women/ the treatment of women as property, murder, rape, adultery, incest, honor killings, discrimination against foreigners, discrimination against the diseased, genocide, slavery, sending genuinely good people to hell, etc. Many of these examples if not all of these, can be found in the abrahamic religions and even the non abrahamic religions, that should be your logical reasoning for at least not believing in mainstream religion, not if the existence of a god is valid or not. Be agnostic or something, but know that there is no true religion, even buddhism and hinduism have major flaws. The best we can do is try to take the positives from all these and leave out the negatives and just live good lives.

The only reason i somewhat approve of christianity, is b/c at it's current state, it is a less oppressive religion than it use to because people pick and choose what to follow, instead of following everything, and b/c it's held armenians together for so long, but it's time we found something new to bind us together

That's unfortunate. I'm sorry. Are you taking any medication for that?

Nobody sets out to disprove gods. I've already mentioned this. Illustrating that it is illogical to believe in a god is not disproving it. Why is this so difficult to grasp?

I am not arguing for God. I am arguing at the illogical approach you are taking, which is more about ideology than any philosophical consistency or fallacy-free reasoning.

It remains what you and the God crowd have are still beliefs. You can sit here and shout and demean and try to present your "infallible" logic, but all you have is still an opinion. You don't have to like it, but that is the way it goes.
I don't see how this is a reply to the post you quoted.

I disagree strongly. But I think why I disagree has already been covered in my posts so I will not repeat.
