Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

  • Re: HyeClub Today

I posed a rhetorical question in hopes for PepsiAddict to stop living in a hopeless bubble.
Perhaps YOUR the one living in a hopeless, theoretical, material bubble ! Have you thought about that?

Unfortunately, you took the question literally and provided a lengthy, rather meaningless reply, which in itself is merely speculation.
Speculation? Brother, I can give you more proof that God exists then you or any atheist can give me that proves God doesn't exist! Why? Because you all base your views on "seeing is believing" or just "science". I'm afraid it's not as simple as that. If God came and stood in front of you ... of course you'd believe he exists! But if it was that
easy, you wouldn't be able to differentiate the true believers from the fake's.

You asked a serious question and I gave you an answer regardless of why you asked that question. And if you want to have a serious talk based on religion ... be my guest.

I don't think it would be wise to pop his bubble.
Many have tried ... all have failed. Be careful ... I might burst your bubbles !

Perhaps you're just repeating everything I'm saying.

Proof? Enlighten us. Prove to us, here, on the forum, that God exists.

Secondly, I'm not an Atheist so don't speculate on that either.

Your words speak differently! And I was talking about atheists in general and I don't want anyone to think I have something against them. We're just conversing here and sharing views.

Perhaps you're just repeating everything I'm saying.
Or you just didn't understand what I meant...

Proof? Enlighten us. Prove to us, here, on the forum, that God exists.
I'm afraid your not prepared for that yet! Let's start from something a bit more primitive.

Do you believe in supernatural beings or supernatural events taking place in the world? Is so, your on the right track. Here are two very simple examples and there are many, many more.

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NdnZAogNWTk

This video shows how Hindu idols drink litres and litres, and litres of milk continuously.

            http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oRFzxvYXaJY

This video shows a Yogi lying down in an extremely hot fire ... so hot ... the camera crew stood a good distance away. Even then their eye's were watering badly. I have the entire DVD so that's where the details are coming from. What's funny is that the Yogi's clothes, his beard, etc. don't burn at all. Later on, they (the crew) take the same clothes, burn it with a lighter and it immediately turns to ashes in a minute. I mean let's say, the Yogi's body was special or something ... why didn't his CLOTHE'S, made of pure cotton, burn down immediately. That fire was terrifyingly hot. A very important detail is that for one second, the Yogi's beard did very slightly burn and when some asked why ... he said because he lost concentration resulting in his prayer and meditation stopping for a moment....

Something I would also like to talk about is that this Yogi eats only one banana everyday and a few drops of water but does SO MUCH throughout the day ... a lot of physical activities. Question: Where does he get his energy from? I'm sure it's not from his hearty, nutritious meals !

Now explain all this ..... if any of you can at all! Some of the best scientists around the world tried to ... scientifically ... and all of them failed. So I don't expect you or anyone else to do a better job, lol. Doctors also tried to explain how the Yogi doesn't DIE of hunger and thirst. All of them failed again. Regarding the idols, that's completely unexplainable. I mean, how can statues consume SO MUCH milk? A simple question. The answer is also very simple ........... some just don't want to accept it !

Anyways, many say ... Seeing is Believeing. Well, here it is right in front of your eyes!!!

Newfound bandwagon? I've been a Christian & a believer of God for many years so that doesnt make me a newfound bandwagon.

Why do you get so angry when we being up the issue of GOD?

I'm angry because some of you are ignorant when it comes to intellectual matters. Instead of using logic - not just in the case of God or higher beings - you brush aside all reasoning and claim the Bible has all the answers in the world.

I'm sorry, but you are jumping on bandwagons. When you can't defend yourself, you simply follow suit when somebody else begins to respond back to another poster. Speak for yourself.

                  J, you can't be serious!

Let's say that's true for a second. Answer the following questions if you can.

                  1. How were LITRES AND LITRES of milk being consumed? It's not just a bit! A small idol taking in litres of milk? Does that sound realistic to you somehow? And if the milk was actually pouring down from their front towards the end ... why didn't the idols begin to look awkward, why didn't their paint start trickling down, why didn't they get spoiled? Litres of milk isn't a joke.

                  2. Why did it happen ONLY three times in history?

Not everything can be explained bro. Scientists seem to find some excuse for so many incidents. Let's say they were right in this case (not that I think they are) ... how do you explain the Yogi??? Scientists and doctors from around the world are completely clueless. What wiki page will you show me proving him wrong, lol?

The problem is that many people try to challenge God, searching for ways to prove miracles wrong (as if it's a fun game), tease believer's, and even CHEAT them!

THIS I must agree with Pepsi. Sorry yekhpayr. I don't think the Bible has ALL the answers. Why? Just read the last chapters. Jesus himself says "There is so much I would like to tell you but can't at this time", can't remember the exact wording. The Bible is complete, I'm not saying it isn't, but it doesn’t have ALL the answers. Many, many devout Christians ... very serious believers (some that my family knows) ... didn't become who they are by simply reading the Bible day and night. They read the Veda's, they went through a lot of scriptures, and much more. They meditated, fasted, etc. Christianity is very deep my friend. It’s not as simple as you think. Just read my Yesuah thread in the Intellectual lounge. That’s one piece of the puzzle.

Jesus himself says, can't remember exactly where in the Bible, “People shall come wearing white clothing with the name of God on their foreheads.” My point is that it’s complicated … mostly because the Bible has been altered …. More then once if I’m not mistaken. Bottom line is, Jesus had A LOT to tell us but couldn’t as we were prepared so you can’t say the Bible has ALL the answers. I’m afraid it doesn’t. Vedic Scriptures which have a great connection with the Bible in many respects do though.
