Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

Today, I put my assistant principle in her place. I was on a field trip today and so nearly 120+ students from the school we're missing because of the field trip. So during this time we had a sub but at the last minute right when we come back we see a arguement in the classroom between the sub and my spanish class. The sub is mad because another person who dropped out of school came back to Clark and acted as if he was one of the people on the field trip. Right when we come back the student on the field trip gets talked at by the sub and tells him right away that he was on a field trip. Sub calls Assistant Principal. The AP comes in and sees me and she thinks I was smiling which I wasn't. She calls me outside. She goes "Why are you smiling?" I simpley reply with "You've never met me in your life and you haven't seen my good or bad so how can you tell if the smile wasn't my normal face I was born with." She was quiete and said "Alright go back to class." I thought to myself "OWNED!!!!"

Today, I had a very interesting day.

My father is a Contractor so I occasionally take his bid documents when they're due. I had to be in South Pasadena and I usually just put in the address in my navigation system so I arrive promptly. The bid opening was scheduled for 2pm so I left fairly early and arrived with plently of time. I called my father around 1:45pm to get the final numbers in the documents, sealed them up and walked in.

I asked the receptionist where the bid meeting would be held and she pointed to a long hallway. As I entered, I told the young lady I was submitting a bid and she told me to leave it on the table of the supervisor, who was not in. I told her bid meetings are held in public and I would have to be there when it was opened, so she suggested I call him on his cell.

Paulo, the man on the other end of the telephone, told me the bid was being held elsewhere with "Joe from Maintenance." He told me he'd call me back with details. I quickly went back to the receptionist, who had to call in for details as well. Both Paulo and the receptionist confirmed the meeting was being held at South Pasadena High School, nearly four blocks away. As I checked my phone, I realized it was 1:54pm and it was going to be impossible to get there. I asked the receptionist to timestamp my document and she said she wasn't allowed to.

In less than a split second, I flew out of the building and into my car, quickly entering the new address in my navigation system, and swerving around trying to find Diamond Avenue. I suddenly got stuck behind a dozen cars, trying to make a left with no "Left Turn Only" lane. I pulled into Diamond Avenue after some struggle, barricaded by high school students - who I swear looked like they were in Elementary. Somehow, I managed to park my car and fly out into the middle of the street.

Confused and lost, I didn't know where to run. I jumped from one building to the other, not knowing where to go in 104 degree weather. I asked a student to see if she knew where Maintenance was and she was clueless. I made my way into the Athletic Director's office, the only adult I could find, only to find him on the phone. Frantically, I was jumping up and down, trying to get his attention but he kept holding his index finger up for me, gesturing me to wait a minute. Sadly, I didn't have a minute!

I ran back into the street, angry that I was going to let my father down. In the distance, my eyes landed on a building: Maintenance! In a flash, I was inside, nearly kicking down the door, now out of breath, struggling to catch some air. I walked in to the office, coughing, searching for air. The receptionist smile and told me not to worry - I had made it in time!

Amazingly, only one other person showed up for the bid. The company we were up against is my father's rival. He missed a form. We won.

Today, I ran into a Vietnam war veteran who felt obligated to tell me how many Americans died in the first month of the war. I proceeded to give him a thumbs up.
