    Re: Let's talk about Atlanta

Couldn’t you find a more racist state (Georgia) to go to? I have been to Savanna and Atlanta………….great party towns especially on St Patrick’s day which they dye everything green (including the river) and party in the streets till morning.

My experience was that minorities are somewhat oppressed there still considered "Deep South" (blacks look afraid to talk to you and most live in government housings). Don’t know about any Armenian communities but I wouldn’t want to live there, not that there is prejudice against Armenians or anything like that (I had no trouble for the month I was there) but the life style doesn’t fit Armenians with no Hye stores to buy our goodies.

    Let's talk about Atlanta

    Hey everybody!

Just wanted to drop by to say Hi. I'll be moving to Atlanta in July and would like to know if anyone here knows of Armenian-related activities or events in the Atlanta area. Evidently, there is an Armenian church there. Is there an Atlanta Armenians Association?

    Cheers all!
