Emotions and learning can be programmed into a ai program. One can today create a computer with its own free will. Technology can and probably eventualy will take over humanity one day because our own creation will be better then us.

Yes but its only programmed in, in short it gets a definition and events/constants associated with it, it cannot feel, it approximates feeling, it cannot make decisions as its decisions are based on algorithms imprinted on it, in short its a complex calculator with randomization, it using mathematics using various print functions to exact the needed pipelined output, it cannot analysis, it cannot afterwards choose a response from what it thinks, only if the entry exists can it take one according to algorithm

So basically, AI would have about as much free will as your MP3 player does when you hit "shuffle" on your playlist. It randomizes the order of the songs, but only the songs you have given it to play, and only because you told it to randomize them.

The programing and the AI reaction to it can be compared to us and our dna program. We are not all that different, we both have a core program and both can be enabled to learn on our own we can even change our original programing if need be and the computer can do this even easier and more completely if we enable it to. Most advanced AI programms probably have safety features which allow us to keep control of the creation but that will one day be compromised. A terminator scenerio is not all that unreal and is perhaps even probabal in the not too distant future, hopefully we will get some use out of cyborgenic hotties before they decide to turn on us.
