This question was adressed earlier in a different forum. The reason for the variety is Armenias location. Many different people traveled the silk road for thousends of years and many stayed-intermarried-reproduced...Plus Armenia was conquered by Arabs, mongols, turcks who also stayed-intermarried-reproduced...
