This is why the Holiday season sucks, everybody pretends to be humble for a month or two, it's like the entire country goes into role playing mode.

I disagree. The holiday season is great for spending time with your family and friends and eating some good food. Kids love the holidays amd for them it really is a special time so you try not to disappoint.
