Do you mean what did I buy? I didn't buy anything just yet.

I use Adobe Premiere which is as good as I can get with Windows. I don't think it's too difficult to adapt to and it's easy to use without any real experience.

Oh I thought when you said "too bad I'm done." meant you already bought something.

Cool about Adobe ... I've seen there is a lighter version "Premiere Elements" and wondering if that will get the job done for minor video edits. My new digital cam shoots pretty good video so I've started taking more and more video clips which need a little editing here and there. I also have a bunch of old family videos that I need to edit (right now they are all in long, unedited raw form (so lots of shakes, lots of useless and boring shots etc).
      this post = teh win.

Yeah, I meant I'm done editing the film I was working on... too bad it was done on a less powerful computer.

I use Adobe Premiere Elements right now. I'm planning on switching over to Premiere, which obviously has better features. So, yes, Elements is good for what you're looking for. It was good enough to edit a short film I had worked on, so it will do fine with your videos. Movie Maker is just basic and easy, if you perfer that. It's about as elementary as it gets though.

By the way if you ever plan on buying a mac mini, I would
suggest buying a refurbished one. They're like $150-200 less than
original price, and they are fixed by the apple workers.

I have decided to go with a Mac. Sip, if you can help me out at all, I'd appreciate it greatly.

Is it worth going with a i5/i7 Processor or should I stick to a Core 2 Duo?

            If I go with an i5, it's $300 extra. If I go with an i7, it's $500 extra.

That all depends on what you intend to do with it... it's always worth it to get something more powerful if you need the power.
