  • Question

If I save mp3 files onto a cd as data, is there anyway I can burn the files onto a cd afterwards?

  • #2
upload them into your computer, save them, and then use a cd burning programe, choose the crap you want to put onto it, and wallah!

you might have to convert the type of file it is depending on the cd burning program and what it allows you to do and make

I tired that, but it won't let me alter anything on the data cd. I can't erase anyhting off of it, and I cant copy it onto the computer either.

So you have made a data cd, and now want to take the music from there and put it onto a "regular" music cd?

So take the data cd data and put it on your hard drive. There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to do that.

Load the data cd. Go to my computer-then locate the cd and open it. You should see a list of all the songs, then just copy and paste the songs where you want them.

Yes. In fact, many burning software may 'on the fly' transform your mp3 to a 'normal audio cd' format.

To do this, generally, the software asks you what kind of cd you want to create. If at the beginning you choose to create an audio cd, whatever file you put in this audio cd, it will be tranformed automatically. So if you put your mp3, it will be transformed into audio cd.

I use Nero burning rom, the best over the best.

                    the steps:
1-First, from your data cd, copy the files somewhere on your computer (my documents for instance)

2-Take the data cd back. Put an empty cd in the burner.

3-launch your burning program, select the 'create audio cd' or something like that as project, put the files you have copied in 1 onto the cd.

                    4-Burn

                    5-Enjoy

                    6-Be thankful
