Re: Post your Favorite Guns!
I had the 870. Yes, you are right, the Remington models you mentioned are known to be problematic.

My Remington pump action used to jam often. I sold it and moved to semiautos; flawless shooting since then.
I loved my semi auto but I was hurting bad back then for a while so I had no choice but sell it....I still regret it.

It worked flawlessly when fired with higher load shells which pack more gun powder.

Re: Post your Favorite Guns!
If you are chasing a deer then you must be using at least 00 Buck shots which are very powerful (btw, great for home defense).
Here is a comparission:
Buck shots
Compared to target loads/small bird shots like quails.
This photo shows the number of pellets in different shells however it doesn't show te amount of gun powder used in each one.....the amount of power increases as the pellet sizes increase...ad in case of a auto creating the needed gas pressure for the bolt to be forced back enough to reload.
Haykakan buy some target loads and cycle them through you smi auto shotgun....if no jams you got yourself real good auto.

Been using it for deer hunting so have not had that problem.
