I am reminded of a quote from The Dark Knight, which doesn't really apply, but part of it does. So, I'll post that part.

One of his teachings was to love your enemies. Do you seriously want people in Armenia to put this into practice?

And as far as I know Jesus never condemned slavery, he seems to have accepted it as part of life. I would think somebody with divine instruction would have the foresight and bravery to condemn such an abhorring practice.

There's also "turn the other cheek" which basically promotes sadomasochism. Should Armenians practice that with Azeris?

The Old Testament contained so much violence, intolerance, sadism, rape and genocide, but at least you could die in the Old Testament world and be done with it. Jesus came along and said that if we don't believe his word then not only would we suffer in life but we would burn in fire for eternity. That sounds neither reasonable nor loving. And I don't know about you but I would not allow somebody to talk to me like that.

I'm not saying the guy only taught bad things, but don't tell me he's the son of god. We have examples of many humans with a better moral compass, not just today but during his time and even before him.

Mos you really are sounding more and more like a muslim man. All this bs about insulting the religion of the armenians sounds just like the xxxx going down in the muslim world today. Hell atleast the muslims were truely insulted unlike here where chrystianity is simply being put to the test of reason. It is not our fault that the crap you believe in is not supported by facts. Just because most armenians(or xxxs or indians or martiants) believe something does not mean that something is true. You get to the truth by questioning things and only the things that hold up are the things you can have some degree of confidence in.

They already do with Russia... so what's your point?

Your reasoning for the claim that they can't possibly be fabricated because somebody would blow the whistle relies on the belief that someone who isn't corrupt would eventually expose the scam. If you were being granted large sums of money for traveling to parts of the world, how much would you be willing to bend the truth?

Not even gona bother asking you why. All you do is change the subject. 911 conspiracy i actually agree with but the even better disguised dinosaur conspiracy sounds like an opening to a standup comics show.

When it comes to loving your enemy, yes that is very hard for Armenians. I for one find it very hard to love Turks or Azeris. I accept that fact. However, the principle of loving your enemy and turning the cheek comes from a good place. Because for one it revises the flawed notion of an "eye for an eye" which is in Judaism.

What facts are you referring to when it comes to the teachings of Jesus? Is there some fact that eliminates the notion of "not judging people"? I'm referring to the core values of Christianity, not to some obscure facts about the state of the world in the Old Testament.

Sorry, I'd believe in the Greek gods before believing that 20-120 ton beasts roamed on land. There is no way that there would have been enough resources to feed these beasts on land without humans planting sh!t, let alone the amount of water they would need to consume. If scientists said they lived in the water (like whales) then maybe I'd buy it... but the entire concept is ridiculous. They do make cool toys for kids though.

Hard to imagine that a man would go through college and think dinosaurs are a conspiracy. Hey Mos you gota be kidding about judging people man. I do believe heaven and hell are part of the chrystian belife structure. You dont even have to go that far-just go to any church in the armenian diaspora and its a fashion show with ladies judging other ladies and gossiping. Ill take some pics of 60 yearold women dressed up like a 20 yearold begging for attention in church and you can be the "judge" yourself. This wonderful religion that brought us the spanish inquisition is surely a great argument against judging others-do you even believe the bs that you type?

In some cases, they find a rock resembling a half assed bone and extrapolate an entire beast with head and all without having any evidence of the rest of the structure. Then they have the audacity to make more sh!t up about how many millions of years ago they lived. Oh no, it wasn't 66 million years, it was 65 million. Give me a fuk'n break. Great job if you can get it.
