I have a AT&T iPhone, but I am having problems with it but I am under contract. I am thinking of getting T Mobile
can anyone give me advice what other brands are better or where I can get a cheap phone from?

    No VERIZON...worst customer service

    Re: Phone Brand

AT&T is trying to buy Tmobile. Hopefully the US government can stop it but otherwise you might be right back to ATT hell.
There are two different questions here .. phone brand and service provider. I think you are asking about service provider. I think Verizon is still the best one in the US.

When I had verizon, my battery was emptied every 2 hours, eventhough I replaced ir twice, got my texts late. dropped calls.

I don't see the correlation between your battery life and your service provider.

              Re: Phone Brand

If you are in a bad signal area where the phone has to keep searching and trying to lock on, then the battery could definitely drain much more quickly.

But Verizon typically has the best service in most places I have been. Also new phones are smart enough not to go too crazy trying to keep a lock on the signal and give up trying after a while (unless they are set to sync data often).

Well, yes. I don't know if Pepsi knows that, because it seems like a lot of people don't, but that's why most batteries drain so quickly.

So, it's not so much as the service provider (it is essentially a signal problem) but I'd assume very little will change in these regards with the change of a service provider.

I agree, though, Verizon is the best thus far.

                    Hi dude,

I have Blackberry 8800 T Mobile, and it works very bad, every service loads for a while. Now I bought Nokia, without any operator, and believe it's great.
