is punishable by death.

is not the refrain of a folk song.

Verbal wisdom should not be confused
with the real thing.

Don’t speak to me about how good you are;
speak to me instead of the mean s.o.b. you harbor
deep in side you like the rest of us.

Mediocrity is not a crime
but where mediocrities take themselves seriously
