i'm in North Carolina...it is silent..but then you walk on the snow and hear the *crunch, crunch*..you no longer feel alone walking in the silence

doubt we're going to get as much snow as toronto, but its good enough for me

I love snow when it's NEW and white and clean... after it gets dirty, especially muddy when it starts melting, its YUCK, talk about getting splashed from head to toe with that muddy water while waiting for the bus.... NOT FUN. Idiots.. they don't drive as fast in the summer as they do in the muddy and dirty winter.. and then cause someone who was well-dressed for his seminar presentation that day to head back home and change his clothes...
