So long as there will forever be two main parties, even if I don't agree with everything Republicans stand for, I will still wish you the best of luck because it's better that an Armenian person be very involved, that way maybe we can get somewhere even with the Republican's in power. dear dear lad, that was not an ignorant statement. it was very realistic. but of course, you as an insider would fail to see the reality of the situation. because if you did, you wouldn't be there right now. For the record, I am not pro-democrats either. in fact, i'm in no position to vote, so it doesn't matter anyway. my point was that republicans are hypocrites because of their election propaganda and their REAL platform.

For being involved with a bunch of hypocrites who use "freedom" and "equality" as their campaign platform (not to mention genocide recognition), yet when elected, work on a constitutional amendment to the definition of marriage, and many other things, which limit freedom and definitely do not speak for "equality"? You can not be arrested for protesting the war. My whole school and the surrounding city would be incarcerated. I am sure it has happened a few times, but that is against the law and a different issue. Police corruption and accountability should be in another thread dan.

As the Party for Life, we stand with the overwhelming majority of Americans who oppose taxpayer funding of abortion and abortion for sex selection. We oppose the heinous practice commonly known as partial-birth abortion and urge the State Legislature, the Congress and President to pass legislation to ban this procedure. To restore to the states the right to determine the abortion issue, we support the reversal of Roe V. Wade. We oppose efforts to legalize assisted suicide.

A party based on freedom indeed... hmm.. but you know what, I'd rather if my mom had abortion rights in case she were sexually assaulted by one of the illegal immigrants that are legalised thanks you the same party's actions and proposals. So hands off peoples' bodies.

Having said that, I don't think I would suppor the democrats for the sole reason that they support affirmative action.
