Forum Rules (Everyone Must Read!!!)

1] What you CAN NOT post.

You agree, through your use of this service, that you will not use this forum to post any material which is:
- abusive
- vulgar
- hateful
- harassing
- personal attacks
- obscene

You also may not:
- post images that are too large (max is 500*500px)
- post any copyrighted material unless the copyright is owned by you or cited properly.
- post in UPPER CASE, which is considered yelling
- post messages which insult the Armenians, Armenian culture, traditions, etc
- post racist or other intentionally insensitive material that insults or attacks another culture (including Turks)

The Ankap thread is excluded from the strict rules because that place is more relaxed and you can vent and engage in light insults and humor. Notice it's not a blank ticket, but just a place to vent. If you go into the Ankap thread, you enter at your own risk of being clowned on.
What you PROBABLY SHOULD NOT post...
Do not post information that you will regret putting out in public. This site comes up on Google, is cached, and all of that, so be aware of that as you post. Do not ask the staff to go through and delete things that you regret making available on the web for all to see because we will not do it. Think before you post!

2] Use descriptive subject lines & research your post. This means use the SEARCH.

This reduces the chances of double-posting and it also makes it easier for people to see what they do/don't want to read. Using the search function will identify existing threads on the topic so we do not have multiple threads on the same topic.

3] Keep the focus.

Each forum has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate forum. Users that keep doing this will be warned, then banned.

4] Behave as you would in a public location.

This forum is no different than a public place. Behave yourself and act like a decent human being (i.e. be respectful). If you're unable to do so, you're not welcome here and will be made to leave.

5] Respect the authority of moderators/admins.

Public discussions of moderator/admin actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you don't like something that a moderator did, PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.

6] Promotion of sites or products is not permitted.

Advertisements are not allowed in this venue. No blatant advertising or solicitations of or for business is prohibited.
This includes, but not limited to, personal resumes and links to products or
services with which the poster is affiliated, whether or not a fee is charged
for the product or service. Spamming, in which a user posts the same message repeatedly, is also prohibited.

7] We retain the right to remove any posts and/or Members for any reason, without prior notice.

- PLEASE READ -

Members are welcome to read posts and though we encourage your active participation in the forum, it is not required. If you do participate by posting, however, we expect that on the whole you contribute something to the forum. This means that the bulk of your posts should not be in "fun" threads (e.g. Ankap, Keep & Kill, This or That, etc.). Further, while occasionally it is appropriate to simply voice your agreement or approval, not all of your posts should be of this variety: "LOL Member213!" "I agree."
If it is evident that a member is simply posting for the sake of posting, they will be removed.

8] These Rules & Guidelines may be amended at any time. (last update September 17, 2009)

If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to admin/moderator.

I want to know if ducati actually went through with it.

Which would I choose? I think that listening to rap music is the lesser of the two evils. I would never ever go around with the turkish flag waiting for people with the same ethnicity as me to get angry. The only reason to show of the turkish flag on april 24th would be to piss people off, not because of the BS reason of showing "pride" on april 24th for turkey.

Why would they get angry? Waving a flag is a peaceful thing, not a hateful, violent thing to do. If they reply in a physical way, then they are the ones who are full of hatred and violence.

I don't think Ducati actually said he was gonna do it.

And puhleeez, don't pretend to know people's intentions in bringing a specific flag. Like I said, it could be for many other reasons.

What do you mean why would they get angry? Maybe because someone would have the common sense not to show off the turkish flag on april 24th? People don't know your specific intentions. If someone is coming and waving a flag for turkey on april 24th, it's like mocking all the Armenians at the rally. You want them to stop and consider other options, like maybe the person with the turkish flag is just showing support for turkey, but not the turkish governments actual denial? With all the emotions involved on that day, that's just not gonna happen. When they see that flag on that day, it just represents a lot of pain for Armenians.

So you're telling me someones intention of showing off the turkish flag at a rally or something isn't to get a rise out of a lotta people? Tell me then, what the hell would they bring a turkish flag for? All the Armenians that I know that were born in turkey don't go around with turkish flags for pride because they were born there. They wouldn't even consider it.

You still didn't answer my question. Which one would you do? You MUST choose one or the other.

Also, do you find it wrong if someone waved the U.S flag?

He said he'd take the rap music.

I still don't get your point Dan. There were thousands of people present at the Dalai Lama's conferences today and yesterday. How many showed up with a Chinese flag? Or how many Irakis protesting against american occupation show up waving an American flag?

Waiving a Turkish flag in certain places of Los Angeles might be umm dangerous to say the least, especially on that day.
Maybe that's why ducati didn't do it.

It's hatred because you're obviously showing disrespect and trying to get people pissed off. All it is is trying to provoke something. It's obvious why someone would show off the turkish flag on a day like April 24th. Don't tell me people have different intentions, you know that's BS.

So what if someone where to wave around the US flag? At least there was $110 Million raised right here in the US for the Armenian people during the time of the genocide. At least they did something to help. All turkey did was kill our people.

*yawn* denial is denial. Are you telling me you're gonna sell your conscience for the sake of 110 million dollars? respect is the most important.

besides the fact that the Brits and the Americans knew that the genocide was taking place, and they didn't do anything to stop it. Waving the American flag at a genocide march/vigil is as offensive (if not more!!) as waving the Turkish flag.
