I do not know of bus routes though I would expect it since the freeway between Burbank and Hollywood is important. Find the MTA website and use that to find bus routes.

if there is probable cause they can search without a search warrant, otherwise they dont give a rats behind whats on there...

What if your passport has Middle Eastern stamps in it? Does anyone know what the chances of them forcing you to turn on the computer? My mom told me that someone who was boarding a plane was forced to do this. I don't really have a criminal record, just a few minor arrests and I'm cleared of any charges, etc. Record is clean. I donno. I would love to have my laptop with me, the only reason is that I don't want to burn all my stuff on CDs and delete them off my computer just in case. Last thing I'd want is to be caught and charged for possessing hateful material.

In the US, we have this right called, freedom of expression, freedom of speech...unfortunatly, it includings the material you attain. You have a better chance of being given a hard time for being gay, than an Hitler idolizer...

btw, west hollywood is where your 'kind' is...thats why i mentioned west holly on where to go for you

Haha, no thanks... last thing I'd want is to give my grandparents heart-attack..

Anyhow, I don't think I'll be bringing my lappie with me. I heard some horror stories about laptop theft at the security check and damage from the X-ray.. Lame if you ask me. They do the check for explosives with some kind of material, but I'm scared of having my laptop physically damaged if they ask me to take it out of the case and get it through the X-ray machine. Like it makes any difference if it's out of the case?

Best sticking with the internet cafe idea...

They wouldn't go through your laptop even if you have a criminal record unless you are on probation or on porol. If your criminal record has anything to do with computers they might, although i highly doubt they are even going to check if you have a criminal record. They must have probable cause to check anything, it goes under the 4th amendment. Just keep your laptop with you and have it turned off.
