One time, I was filling up my meter (freakin' things run out after 4 hours) and this shady looking bum was hovering around. He came over, did his usual speech, and asked for money. Now, since I was merely filling up the meter, which meant that I would not be driving off any time soon, and the guy knew that that was my car, and kept eyeing it like he was going to "key" it if I didn't give him his booze money, I gave in.

Seriously though, I am sick and tired of SC's neighborhood. Damn bums. Get a job already! And believe me, they're just lazy, and not psychologically traumatized or that other bullxxxx. I've been around enough to realize that most are not like that.

It's on Brand, pretty close to the Galleria.

They have the most original stories too. I swear if they used the creativity they have to make up stories and 'pitch' them to do something else-- like find a job perhaps, they'd do very well. Ayayay. However after four years there I learned most of their stories and would help them finish. Yeah lady I know the spiel.

Hey, we're not tourists, so we can't be trapped.

On Third Street, in Santa Monica.

It pretty much has a little bit of everything: 3 blocks full of 3 movie theatres, a lot of restaurants, coffee places, bars, place to play pool, clothing stores, apple store, bums, weirdos singing and doing weirdo things for money, etc etc etc. And it's close enough to the beach to walk there is anyone wants to do that... Really close to the Santa Monica Pier...
