  • That's incredible!!

Ricky Barker, a 13-year-old kid from Phoenix, was hit by a car and survived - even though his skull CAME OFF his spine and left him paralyzed from the neck down. His injuries made Christopher Reeve's look like a paper cut. Enter Dr. Kim Manwaring, who reattached everything, and restored movement to Ricky's legs and one of his arms. The kid's got a neck full of titanium, and will set off every metal detector he ever walks through, but he'll walk through them.

"...before surgery, skin and some muscles provided the only hold of the skull to the body"

    Amazing, isn't it?

Strangely enough, I am more inclined to believe that the word gullible is not in the dictionary than this kid's story.
