  • If You Could Ask One Question To God

If you were given the chance to see God and could ask ONLY ONE question to him, what would it be?

This question has to be a question.

NOT a question to want something like "Can you give me more money?" or something to that extent

What would your ONE question be that you would like him to answer for you?

I'd ask the one thing that's been bugging me forever:

If the bible is the..."blue-print" more or less of what has/is going to happen, if you know the WHOLE story from start to finish....that mankind will fail, and that the "end of days" is inevitable, etc.....

.....WHY'D YOU START THE WORLD IN THE FIRST PLACE?!?!

That's like asking: "If you know you're going to die why don't you kill yourself now?"

      or

"If you're going on a fun trip and you know you're coming home, why go at all?"

Your first question is why many people who committe suicide DO kill themselves. For the rest that don't, there are several reasons. Religion, which deems it as a sin and gives you a goal for the "afterlife", or most importantly, fear of not knowing what's on the other side, etc.

For your second question, going on a trip does a number of things. It's a chance to relieve stress and allow yourself to recooperate by doing something you ordinarily can't do at home. Yes, you will come home eventually, but without some breaks in between, continuing the everyday, monotonous cycle tears a person down after time. Plus getting away from your everyday surroundings can give you a different perspective on a great variety of things.

I see what you're saying, but examples like those are a wee bit different than creating everything we know/existence.

I'll ask: "Hey God, if you are in fact the creator and oh so perfect, then how come there are stupid people?"
            this post = teh win.

Not really. If he says "No" to "Can I ask you more than one question?" it is over.

But I have more than one question

If God says No, then Oh well, at least I tried.
